It represents the bioartemic processed food line, that is made up of the cyst and the biomass of the adult brine shrimp. Among the differentials of this line, it is worth mentioning the raw material itself and the region of its production, the North Coast of Rio Grande do Norte, which provides its fatty acid profile. The production of this line began in 1993 and over the years has enabled the growth of BioArtemia and the diversity of its portfolio. The processed food line mainly serves the Brazilian aquaculture industry. Currently, it’s being developed researches to improve new solutions for feeding aquatic organisms based on these processes.

From the founding of the company up to the present, the brine shrimp cyst has been widely used by local and foreign producers for direct marketing and via our partners from other countries.
Brazil’s brine shrimp biomass is composed of products derived from brine shrimp submitted to different conservation processes. Its first product was a frozen brine shrimp biomass, commercialized since 1993. We are currently working on expanding this portfolio to offer synergy between all the brine shrimp’s nutritional advantages and the new demands of the aquaculture industry.

BioArtemia Hatchery is composed of 3 liquid diets developed to meet the nutritional requirement of shrimp larva from the Zoea I phase to the pl 6. phase (patent). Briefly, this process increases the bioavailability of brine shrimp nutrients and promotes the inactivation of any pathogens present in it. BioArtemia Hatchery diets are also formulated with functional ingredients that imitate the natural diet of shrimp larva in the natural environment as seaweed. In general, the diets were developed to meet the nutritional requirement of shrimp considering nutritional, morphological and physiological factors. And it has been developed focusing on its constant improvement.
